Ascension Day is Thursday May 5th - church open.
For Ascension Day itself (May 5th) the church is hosting a number of prayer stations featuring the work of a Christian artist. There will be a self-guided pilgrimage through the Stations of the Resurrection (Via Lucis) - Stations of Light available. These stations follow the resurrection appearances of Christ, culminating in his ascension and the birth of the church in the power of the Spirit, poured out at Pentecost.
The church will be open at two times, particularly, for pilgrimage:- 4:30-6pm and 6:30-8pm.
The church will also be open for much of the day to passers-by and those voting in the Mayoral Elections in the Hall next door.
